December 2006
Beloved Friends,
Christmas is Here! The joy of celebrating the birth of Christ fills my heart. My recent trip to Israel with Reverend Diane renewed my Spirit and filled me with a deepened faith. It brought to life the deep significance and meaning of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. One could see the hand of God at work throughout Israel everywhere we visited, and feel the sacredness of the land. I understand clearly why many call it the Holy Land. My vision is that we journey to Israel next fall together and walk where Jesus walked and visit the sites of His ministry.
Christmas this year will be very special for each of us as we celebrate it in our new church home. Each time I unlock the door and enter the church, I am filled with awe and wonder. It truly is a miracle unfolding as we continue to make this new building our church home. If you have not yet visited our new church, I invite you to do so. You will feel the same warm, loving Spirit as you felt when you walked through the doors at any of the other places our church called home.
So, please come home for Christmas! Our Christmas Services are listed below. Invite a friend! Bring a loved one! Share the Hope, Peace, Love and Joy that the living Christ brings to us each and every day. Merry Christmas!
