LOVE IN ACTION!

Our Ministry Teams are teams filled with joyful, loving service. We know that each of us is inspired by Spirit to express our own unique gifts and talents. Serving your church through a Ministry Team solidifies your commitment to your own spiritual growth, the growth of our church and every life this ministry touches.

Jesus lived as the perfect example of servant leadership – leading from the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Jesus spoke of his mission in Matthew 20:28, "the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve..." The choice to lead flows naturally from the gift of serving freely. The servant seeks to ensure that other people’s needs are being met. The results are powerful; those being served grow in Spirit, becoming healthier, wiser, freer and are inspired to also choose to serve.

We invite you to consider joining a Team to share and joyously express your love. If you have a gift or talent to offer which is not listed, please let us know the way in which you would like to serve.

If you are not called to a commitment to a team, we have many other ways in which to serve. Each week our congregants read the Scripture, the Daily Word in our worship service. Volunteers create or provide a flower arrangement each Sunday to beautify our sanctuary. Every month we gather to assemble and mail out our monthly newsletter. These expressions are also gifts of loving service.
